For anyone who's started over one too many Mondays

Hit your protein. Keep your strength. Keep the weight off.

You've gotten in shape before, and the weight crept back. Now you can just say what you ate, and in about 30 seconds a meal you'll know you're hitting your protein and calories.

No food scale. No ads. Coming soon to the App Store for iPhone.

MacroEase showing a logged meal with calories and protein
The problem

You're doing everything right, and still losing ground.

Tracking takes too long. Guessing, phone notes, and search-and-weigh apps all fall apart within days. So you never really know if you hit your protein or stayed in a deficit.

Guessing

Eyeballing meals and hoping it's close enough.

Weighing

Putting every chicken breast on a scale, gram by gram.

Searching

Scrolling five "verified" entries that all say something different.

Knowing what you ate shouldn't take more effort than eating it.

The real enemy

The all-or-nothing cycle.

It isn't you. It's a cycle that resets every week, and every reset costs you progress.

MondayStart strong.
ThursdaySlip.
WeekendWrite it off.
Next MondayStart over. Again.

MacroEase fights the cycle, not you. Miss a day? Just log the next meal. There's no "starting over."

Why we built it

We know the cycle. We lived it.

"For years I ate healthy and got in shape more than once, but my weight kept creeping back. I tried guessing, phone notes and calorie apps, and never stuck with any of them. The one time I went all in on keto, I lost a lot of weight and got in great cardio shape, but I ended up skinny fat. I'd lost muscle along with the fat, because I wasn't tracking calories or protein.

Then I started just talking to my phone. For the first time ever I'm hitting my calorie goal, and I'm seeing it on the scale and in the mirror, because I'm finally hitting my protein. What used to take forever now takes 30 seconds."

What's at stake

Losing weight shouldn't mean losing strength.

Without enough protein, weight loss can take muscle along with fat. That muscle is what keeps you strong, steady on your feet, and independent as you age. Even a diet that "works" can leave you lighter on the scale but softer and weaker.

Whether you're on a GLP-1 medication or simply want to stay strong past 50, knowing your daily protein makes the difference between guessing and knowing.

MacroEase is a food log for general wellness, not medical advice. Talk with your doctor about your health and medications.

Questions

Do I need a food scale?

No. It's built for cups, spoons and pieces. You can add grams if you have them.

Can I fix something it got wrong?

Yes. Every food shows up in a table with its amount and macros. Tap to change it.

Where does the food data come from?

USDA FoodData Central first, then foods you've saved.

What about eating out?

Describe it the way you'd tell a friend. It breaks it into foods you can adjust. Restaurant meals are always an estimate.

Is it hard to read?

No. Big numbers, high contrast, one big button to talk.

Can I get my data out, or delete it?

Yes. Export anytime, and delete your account from inside the app.

Android?

iPhone only for now.

Is this medical advice?

No. MacroEase is a food log, not a medical device. Talk to your doctor or a registered dietitian about medical concerns.

Know you hit your protein today.

From "the weight always comes back" to "I finally know what it takes, and it only takes 30 seconds."
